I am a Magna Cum Laude graduate from The University of Miami with a degree in finance. Over the past 3 years, I have been a remote SAT tutor for upwards of 70 high school students....See More Stemming from the successes and positive experiences my clients had working with me, I was also entrusted to help many of these students and their families navigate the increasingly complicated and competitive college admissions process. Some highlights of my work in the education space include
* Getting athletes the SAT score needed to play college sports
* Teaching ESL students the writing section in a rules based way
* Helping first generation students with their applications and the admissions process
* Working with multiple members from one family
* Assisting students in achieving quality aid, making higher education more affordable
My experiences brought me to the realization that so many students across the country do not have access to the high-quality tutoring and admissions support they need at an affordable price. I founded remoteUprep with the mission to provide any high school student, not just the wealthy and connected, with the highest quality support and resources possible to achieve their academic and life goals.
Before founding remoteUprep, my two most recent positions were in the financial services industry, working for both a Colorado based multi-family office and J.P. Morgan. I also have experience as a founder after starting my own online test preparation company.
Combining my two passions, education and finance, has allowed me to carve out a unique niche. I not only help students get into the school of their choice, but also help their families afford it.
In my free time I like to play pick-up basketball, travel, and continuously learn. |
