I am entering my second year of the Master of Architecture program at Virginia Tech, with a personal interest in sustainable design. Previously, I graduated from The University of ...See MoreMiami with a degree in Architectural Engineering. In both of these programs, working with others was critical to my success. This has led me to develop strong communication skills that have translated well in my past tutoring experiences. I worked with a number of engineering students in different disciplines in calculus, physics and general engineering courses. I'm presently working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and directly help architecture/design students fabricate their projects the woodshop.
I would love to tutor students with a specific emphasis for their math and physics courses. I believe I am exceptional at helping students understand complicated STEM topics as physics and mathematics, since I've been in that position before. My dream to one day combine architecture and engineering to build sustainable projects always gave me the motivation to do whatever it takes to succeed. Now that I'm so close to reaching my goal, I want to help other students overcome their respective challenges to reach their goals as well.
I believe that a successful client relationship isn't just having the client get a good grade or complete a task. I strive to have my clients fully understand the topic in question to set them up to thrive and build more internal confidence when their coursework gets even more advanced as they continue their academic careers. |
